SURFACE TREATMENT ON STEEL PRODUCTS
HERMETIK system with High-Pressure pumps and the patented Rotary Nozzle Header or conventional stationary descaler remove residues from for example steel plates. Cleaning of unwanted material is quick and free from any chemicals since the system only use water under high pressure.
Tailormade systems for different specific needs are built to your requirements. Examples show very high savings in time which save OPEX costs. The cleaned steel plate surface can be used over and over again with improved high product quality result.
SURFACE TREATMENT ON COPPER PRODUCTS
Copper oxide inhibits the production of zero-defect copper wire. We remove all undesirable oxides with our rotating nozzles. This way we provide a surface without oxide inclusions after rolling.
The HERMETIK Scale-washer with rotating nozzles cleans the copper surface with high-pressure water. This solution is very environment friendly compared to pickling. A further advantage is the ability to filtrate the copper-oxides out of the water after descaling.
OXIDE REMOVAL ON ALUMINUM PRODUCTS
To produce reliable castings and avoid impurments can be a challange. The surface of aluminum melts is covered by an oxid skin and open inclusions.
The aluminum grades Al include several elements as Cu, Fe, Mn, Mg, Ni, Si and others.The Mg and the Si oxides occur as concentration on the surface as a shiny film. These are the key features in the chemical composition and unite the oxide very sticky with the pure Al material. The oxides as Al₂MgO₄, MgO, SiO₂, Al₂O₃ must be removed to produce a smooth surface on the product .
The mechanical milling off line treatment of slabs is a common process and can be replaced by the High Pressure Water Milling process. The Hermetik High Pressure Water Milling Descaler is even developed for on line continuous casting production.
